Some files aren't automatically encrypting

Some files are not automatically encrypted because the file type may be important to another file's dependancies.  Please consult this list to learn about which files will not encrypt automatically.

 

OS X

files starting from .

files starting from  ~$

files ending in .tmp

files ending in .crdownload

files named Icon

 

Windows

 

Files with extensions exe, dll, drv, sys, com, vxd, 386

Configuration files: inf, ini, manifest, cmd

Google docs files: gdoc, gslides, gsheet, gform, gdraw

 

If you would like to secure the file, you may still right-click and select "Apply Privacy".
